Here you will find the current Joomla! releases and an Archive of previous Joomla! releases. The archive has only full stable releases stored. If you are looking for update or upgrade releases, you will have to look on the JoomlaCode.org website.

With the language files you will be able to adjust Joomla! to your local environment and language and even create multilingual websites in combination with the Joom!Fish component. In the Joomla! 1.0.x releases, the frontend only can be multilingual. Beginning with the Joomla! 1.5.x releases, you also can use multiple languages in the backend and during the installation process and each user can select a preferred language while working with Joomla!.

The power of Joomla! is in its plugins or addons. Here you will find some plugins we regularly use, but the majority of extensions for Joomla! can be found on the Joomla! Extension Site.

The Joomla template is a series of files within the Joomla CMS that control the presentation of the content. The Joomla template is not a web site, neither is it to be considered a complete web site design. The template is the basic foundation design for viewing your Joomla! web site. To produce the effect of a "complete" web site, the template works hand in hand with the content stored in the Joomla databases.
